Trump administration briefed Republicans on Wednesday about US military strikes on suspected drug boats without telling Democratic members about the briefing, according to a top Senate Democrat and a source with direct knowledge of the incident.
Alabama Supreme Court Justice Bill Lewis has been appointed to serve as a federal judge in the Middle District of Alabama. The U.S. Senate voted 58-40 on Oct. 27 to confirm the appointment, said U.S. Sen. Katie Britt, R-Alabama.
The US has already imposed 35 per cent tariff on all Canadian goods, although most are exempt under the Free Trade Agreement. The Trump administration has also imposed sector-specific tariffs, including 50% on metals and 25% on automobiles.
